Oral and Maxillofacial surgery is a specialty of dentistry which today requires 4-6 years of training beyond dental school. This is necessarily hospital based and involves training to provide care for a broad variety of problems related to the teeth, mouth and facial regions. Operating room training in various types of anesthesia are an integral part of this experience.
The SERVICES we provide include but are not limited to the management of WISDOM TEETH and OTHER DENTAL ALVEOLAR SURGERY, the management of INFECTION OF THE TEETH AND MOUTH, and the evaluation and diagnosis of PATHOLOGY conditions of the Mouth, including biopsies. Also included is the placement of DENTAL IMPLANTS to restore missing teeth, BONE GRAFTS to provide adequate bone for implants, ANESTHESIA SERVICES, AND OTHER TREATMENT.
